Via Making of

Izzy Burton is a talented director and illustrator, who knows how to convince with her colourful and poetic universe. Brilliant in mathematics, she hesitated for a long time to pursue a career in computer science before finally turning definitively to art, fortunately for us. Her lively creations combine reality anchored in a fantastic environment. Her inspiration comes mainly from her childhood spent between England and the United States. Her creations are very diversified, she easily moves from the great plains of America to the small streets of Brooklyn. Her characters are also colourful, all linked by a fine and precise line reminiscent of watercolour. She recently put all these elements into practice to make her first short film “Via”. This achievement has enabled her to win numerous awards at festivals and even to be pre-selected for the BAFTA in 2019.
